Флаг рабочего посёлка Сузун представляет собой прямоугольное полотнище, на котором изображены три разновеликие полосы синего, красного и зелёного цветов (от флагштока (древка) на лицевой и оборотной сторонах, или слева направо, если флаг размещается в развернутом виде). Между синей и зелёной полосами изображены десять жёлтых нисходящих языка пламени, примыкающих широким основанием к верхнему краю полотнища и три монеты жёлтого цвета, расположенные по диагонали  справа налево сверху вниз. На верхней левой монете красные изображения вензеля императрицы Екатерины II под императорской короной с положенными в окружность лавровой и пальмовой ветвями перевязанных лентой. На средней монете красная прорисовка двух обращённых друг к другу соболей, стоящих на постаменте и держащих овальный картуш, увенчанный пятизубцовой короной и пятнадцать колец положенных по окружности монеты. На нижней правой монете изображения отсутствуют.

Соотношение ширины полос к длине флага: 1:2:1. Отношение ширины флага к его длине 2:3. Соотношение диаметра монеты к ширине флага составляет 1:6. Соотношение высоты пояса, составленной из языков пламени к высоте флага составляет 1:4
